If you are always tired and sleepy, there could be any number of reasons for this. Poor Diet/Lack of Nutrition 
A nutrient deficient diet will often cause fatigue to set it after  many months or even years of poor eating habits. You need to be aware of  what you're eating as you literally are what you eat. If you eat  processed foods all the time, you are going to develop deficiencies.  Whole foods are the way to go, find out what you're sensitive to and  remove it from your diet, conscious eating at all times.
Adrenal Fatigue 
This condition can set in after a series of stressful events burn  out your stress hormone reserves. Symptoms can be anything from  shortness of breath and fatigue to not being able to wake up in the  morning to becoming hypersensitive to caffeine. If you're tired all the  time you need to know if you are suffering from Adrenal Fatigue as its a  very serious condition to overlook!
SAD - seasonal affective disorder 
This is now accepted as a medical condition where the lack of  sunlight in the winter months can make you feel down and depressed.  Another symptom is to crave sugary foods and carbohydrates to eat. This  is more common in the northern hemisphere where there are less hours of  daylight at certain times of the year.
Once you determine the reason for your fatigue, you can then go about trying to sort the problem out. The most difficult thing is to actually pinpoint what it is that makes you always tired and sleepy.
